Apple Filling
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Crisp Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
Transfer the apple mixture to a skillet and spread it out evenly.
In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the skillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
