Fattoush Salad Recipe
A fresh and tangy Middle Eastern salad with crispy pita bread.

Salad Ingredients
- 2 pieces Pita bread cut into small pieces
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 cup Cucumber diced
- 1 cup Bell pepper diced
- ½ cup Red onion thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Fresh parsley chopped
- ¼ cup Fresh mint chopped
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Sumac
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
1. Toast the pita bread pieces in a frying pan until crispy.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, parsley, and mint.
3. Add the toasted pita bread pieces to the bowl.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, salt, and black pepper.
5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
6. Serve immediately.
