Ingredients 

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Pita bread cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber diced
  • 1 cup Bell pepper diced
  • ½ cup Red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup Fresh mint chopped
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Sumac
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Toast the pita bread pieces in a frying pan until crispy.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, parsley, and mint.
  3. 3. Add the toasted pita bread pieces to the bowl.
  4. 4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, salt, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
  6. 6. Serve immediately.
