Main Ingredients
- 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg beaten
- ¼ cup Chopped Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for frying
1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, cumin, and salt. Pulse until well mixed but still slightly chunky.
2. Form the mixture into small patties.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
4. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or in a pita.
