Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, shredded
  • 3 cups Potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1.5 cups Milk
  • ¼ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add the butter and melt over medium heat. Add the onions and carrots, cooking until tender.
  3. 3. Stir in the flour and cook for a minute. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. 4. Add the potatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir in the cooked ground beef, milk, salt, and pepper. Heat through.
  6. 6. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Serve hot.
