Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 3 cups Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Kale chopped
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add the diced onion and cook until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low, add the cooked sausage back to the pot, and stir in the heavy cream and chopped kale. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
