Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
Add sugar, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
