Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 medium carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks celery sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water.
  2. 2. In a large pot, sauté the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
  3. 3. Add the wild rice and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
