- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- ½ cup Ground Flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 ½ cup Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tablespoon Honey
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preheat your waffle iron.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
