  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 15 oz
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes 15 oz
  • 1 can Kidney Beans 15 oz, drained
  • 1 can Pinto Beans 15 oz, drained
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 1 cup Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion, celery, green bell pepper, and garlic to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. 3. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, pinto beans, water, and all the spices. Mix well.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving. Enjoy!
