Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sushi rice
  • 2.5 cups Water
  • ¼ cup Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 sheets Nori
  • 1 cup Cucumber, julienned
  • 1 cup Carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup Avocado, sliced

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice with water in a rice cooker or on the stove according to package instructions.
  3. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Fold into the cooked rice.
  4. Place a nori sheet on a sushi mat, shiny side down. Spread an even layer of rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  5. Arrange cucumber, carrot, and avocado slices along the bottom edge of the rice.
  6. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, then slice into pieces with a sharp knife.
