Ingredients

  • 8 cups cubed bread preferably stale
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, chopped onion, and chopped celery.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture and toss to coat.
  4. Add the vegetable broth, dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
