Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup Nutritional yeast
- ½ cup Pine nuts or walnuts
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- ½ cup Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- ½ teaspoon Salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
1. Add basil, nutritional yeast, pine nuts, and garlic to a blender.
2. Blend until the ingredients are finely chopped.
3. With the blender running, slowly add olive oil and lemon juice.
4. Blend until smooth, adding salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
