Ingredients 

Pesto

  • 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  • ½ cup Pine Nuts toasted
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • ½ cup Nutritional Yeast
  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Pasta your choice

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, nutritional yeast, olive oil, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Season the pesto with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. 4. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until evenly coated.
  5. 5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
