Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni or any pasta of choice
  • 1 cup Cashews soaked in hot water for 15 minutes
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • ¼ cup Nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric for color
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine soaked cashews, vegetable broth, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
