Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Raw Cashews soaked in water for at least 4 hours
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Agar Agar Powder
1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
2. In a blender, combine cashews, water, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and add the agar agar powder. Stir well.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
5. Pour the mixture into a mold or container and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
6. Once set, remove from the mold, slice, and enjoy your vegan cheese!
