Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coconut Flakes large flakes
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika smoked
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the coconut flakes to the bowl and gently toss to coat them in the marinade.
  4. Spread the coconut flakes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the coconut flakes are crispy and golden brown.
  6. Let the vegan bacon cool completely before serving.
