Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Egg
- 0.5 cup Water as needed
Filling
- 200 grams Ground beef or lamb
- 1 small Onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Sauce
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the egg and mix well. Gradually add water until a dough forms. Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
2. For the filling, combine ground meat, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until thin. Cut into small squares, about 2 inches each.
4. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook for 10-15 minutes until they float to the surface.
6. For the sauce, mix yogurt and garlic in a bowl. Melt butter in a pan and add paprika. Drizzle over the dumplings and serve with the yogurt sauce.
