Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Use as a marinade or sauce.
