Main Ingredients
- 8 oz tempeh cut into nugget-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
- ½ cup flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with plant-based milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dip each piece of tempeh first in the flour, then in the plant-based milk, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Place the breaded tempeh pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
