Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz tempeh cut into nugget-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with plant-based milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each piece of tempeh first in the flour, then in the plant-based milk, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the breaded tempeh pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
