Ingredients
Crust

cold and cubed

egg yolk

cold water
Filling

tart cherries
pitted

cornstarch

teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add egg yolk and cold water, mix until dough comes together. Press into tart pans.
Bake crusts for 10 minutes. Let cool.
In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla. Cook until thickened.
Fill tart crusts with cherry mixture. Bake for another 15 minutes.
Let cool before serving.
