Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Mashed Sweet Potatoes cooked and mashed
- 1 cup Black Beans drained and rinsed
- ½ cup Bread Crumbs
- ¼ cup Chopped Onion
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, black beans, bread crumbs, chopped onion, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Place the patties on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the baked patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
Serve warm on buns with your favorite toppings.
