Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mashed Sweet Potatoes cooked and mashed
  • 1 cup Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, black beans, bread crumbs, chopped onion, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Place the patties on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the baked patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
  6. Serve warm on buns with your favorite toppings.
