  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • ½ cup milk
  • cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • cup melted butter
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, beaten eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, prepare the topping by combining the brown sugar, all-purpose flour, melted butter, and chopped pecans. Mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
