Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Sauce Ingredients

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. 2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from wok and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same wok, add the bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix together the ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar. Pour into the wok and bring to a simmer.
  5. 5. Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce and stir until thickened.
  6. 6. Return the chicken to the wok and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. 7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
