Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast

- 8 slices Bread preferably thick slices
- 1 cup Strawberries sliced
- 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
- 4 Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 tablespoon Butter for cooking
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
2. Spread a layer of cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
3. Place sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese on half of the bread slices, then top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches.
4. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Serve warm, optionally with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup.
