Instructions
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add a few popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with the lid.
Once the kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels in an even layer.
Cover the pot, remove from heat for 30 seconds, then return to heat.
Once popping slows to several seconds between pops, remove from heat.
Season with salt to taste and serve immediately.
