Ingredients

  • 1 lb Green Beans trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Fill a pot with about an inch of water and bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Place the green beans in a steamer basket and set over the boiling water.
  3. 3. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes, until the beans are tender but still crisp.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
  5. 5. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
