Spiced Chickpea Crostini
A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring spiced chickpeas on toasted crostini.

Main Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin ground
- 1 teaspoon paprika smoked
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
- 1 baguette French bread sliced into ½ inch pieces
- 1 clove garlic halved
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, or until crispy.
While the chickpeas are roasting, toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
Rub the toasted baguette slices with the cut side of the garlic clove.
Top each baguette slice with a spoonful of the spiced chickpeas. Serve immediately.
