Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 1 baguette French bread sliced into ½ inch pieces
  • 1 clove garlic halved

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, or until crispy.
  4. While the chickpeas are roasting, toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Rub the toasted baguette slices with the cut side of the garlic clove.
  6. Top each baguette slice with a spoonful of the spiced chickpeas. Serve immediately.
