  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 200 g Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
  • 2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions 

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. While pasta cooks, toast black pepper in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain spaghetti.
  4. Add spaghetti to the pan with pepper, then add reserved pasta water and grated Pecorino Romano.
  5. Toss until cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.
