Southern Buttermilk Fried Chicken
A classic Southern dish, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Main Ingredients
- 4 pieces Chicken thighs
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
4. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
5. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
