Main Ingredients
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup Chopped carrots
- 1 cup Chopped celery
- 1 cup Frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
Dumplings
- 2 cups Biscuit mix
- ⅔ cup Milk
1. Place chicken, broth, carrots, celery, peas, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk to form a dough.
4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the chicken mixture in the slow cooker.
5. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until dumplings are cooked through.
