  • 2 racks baby back ribs about 4 pounds
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions 

  1. 1. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. 3. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
  4. 4. Place the ribs in the slow cooker. Pour barbecue sauce over the ribs.
  5. 5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until ribs are tender.
  6. 6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  7. 7. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with additional barbecue sauce.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
  9. 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
