Main Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Add onions, garlic, carrots, and peas. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in tomato paste and flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add beef broth and simmer until thickened.
Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until top is golden brown.
