  • 1 lb Asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame Seeds toasted
  • ¼ cup Sliced Almonds toasted
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and cool under cold water.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
  3. 3. Add the cooled asparagus to the bowl and toss to coat.
  4. 4. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced almonds before serving.
