Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 red chilies
  • 5 shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon tamarind juice

Instructions 

  1. Blend chilies, shallots, garlic, and shrimp paste into a smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the paste and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add sugar, salt, and tamarind juice. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Let it cool before serving.
