Instructions
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Soak the saffron threads in warm milk for 5 minutes.
In a pot, heat ghee or butter over medium heat.
Add the rice and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add water, saffron milk, and salt. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
Fluff with a fork and serve.
