Place the halved cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast for 20-25 minutes until they are soft and slightly caramelized.
While the tomatoes are roasting, cook the brown rice pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, roasted tomatoes, chopped basil, and minced garlic. Toss everything together until well mixed.
