Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken about 4-5 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
  5. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
