Main Ingredients
- 4 artichokes trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lemon lemon sliced
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, toss the artichokes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
Spread the artichokes out on the baking sheet in a single layer. Place lemon slices on top.
Roast in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the artichokes are tender and golden brown.
Serve warm, optionally with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
