Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken about 4-5 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Herbs such as thyme, rosemary, or sage
  • 1 whole Lemon halved
  • 4 cloves Garlic crushed

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. 2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. 3. Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves, garlic, and herbs.
  5. 5. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. 6. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
