Ingredients 

Base

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour

Filling

  • 1 cup Raspberry jam

Topping

  • 1 cup Sliced almonds

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and mix until well combined.
  4. Press the dough into a greased baking pan.
  5. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the jam.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
