Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup Cold butter cut into small pieces
  • ½ cup Pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat into a circle about 1 inch thick.
  7. Cut into 8 wedges and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
