  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sugar, pumpkin puree, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
