  • 4 Peaches ripe, halved and pitted
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 Vanilla Bean split lengthwise

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and vanilla bean. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add peach halves to the boiling syrup. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Remove peaches with a slotted spoon and let cool. Serve warm or chilled.
