Ingredients

  • 1 cup Red onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup White vinegar
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 baguette French baguette, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Add sliced onions to the bowl and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  6. Top each crostini with pickled onions and serve.
