Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Swiss chard stems removed, leaves chopped
  • ½ cup White vinegar
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced into ½ inch slices
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Stir until sugar and salt are dissolved.
  3. 3. Add chopped chard to the bowl and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  5. 5. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  6. 6. Top each crostini with pickled chard and serve immediately.
