Ingredients

  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 1 cup Basil leaves packed
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ cup Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Pine nuts toasted
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the pesto sauce until evenly coated.
  4. 4. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
