  • 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • ¼ cup whipped cream for topping
  • 1 candy cane crushed, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm.
  2. Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and continue to heat until hot, but not boiling.
  4. Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream, and garnish with crushed candy cane.
