  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until combined.
  4. Add the peach halves, cut side down, and cook for 3-5 minutes until they are caramelized and tender.
  5. Place two peach halves in each bowl, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  6. Drizzle the remaining sauce from the skillet over the top.
  7. Add whipped cream and chopped nuts if desired.
