Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced peaches fresh or canned
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds toasted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add oats and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2. Stir in milk, if using, and cook for another 2 minutes until creamy.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and stir in honey and vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Divide the oats into bowls, top with sliced peaches and toasted almonds.
