  • 2 cups peas fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • ¼ cup pine nuts toasted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 lb pasta your choice
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  2. 2. While the pasta is cooking, blend peas, basil, parmesan, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
  3. 3. Drain the pasta and toss with the pea pesto sauce.
  4. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
